For a growing profitable business, would the bootstrapping route be better vs raising a seed round?

Revenue is still small and a round could accelerate growth.

Bootstrapping would allow for less stakeholders and more ownership.

What would you choose and why

Dont raise money just because it would accelerate your growth because it will be a completely different life for you. Here is how I would think about it. If you're happy with what you have right now, I wouldnt change anything. Dont raise money, dont hire people, just keep things as they are, you are happy and thats big. Now if you feel you're not entirely happy, not entirely fulfilled, if you want a bigger business, more people around you, bigger challenges, then raise money, hire people, etc.

Clearly raising money, hiring people and stuff is a fucking big deal and will have significant consequences on your life. It's a whole truckload of shit and additional terribly-hard challenges on your shoulders.

It's a question about your happiness and happiness work like that: if youre happy, dont change no nothing. If youre not, try something different.
