How to copy a shared folder into my own Google Drive? (2020) (webapps.stackexchange.com)

I recently ran into this and was surprised that the smoothest way to copy a shared folder to your own drive (to prevent against the source being deleted etc) was using a jupyter notebook hosted on google's servers and mounting gdrive.
