Looks helpful, covering a lot of bases. One thing that seems to be missing is making sure to handle .pacnew files (changes to default configuration files). I'm always bad at this, but is much easier with a good tool like pacfiles-mode for Emacs: https://github.com/UndeadKernel/pacfiles-mode
(And of course general recommendations like backups, but that is not Arch specific, other than maybe having a package list to restore from)
