Article suggests that this situation might happen in Poland too. I'm from Poland and I know it's definitely happening here. Before covid I got a raise, almost maximum what a senior developer could earn in my region, I thought it was verly lucky for me. Now it's becoming hard to hire junior developer for that price and 1/3 of my company quit recently because they got offers for twice more money and for less demanding work.
Right now I landed my first gig in Italy, i'm getting 25k before taxes. When I told that to my friends that work in Denmark/Sweden/Germany they thought I was joking since for them my salary is not even entry level while here it's almost average for the country. Different Eu countries have wildly different markets and salaries, which is kinda crazy since you just can go and live somewhere else in EU with almost no documents
