They don't get to build a cage, then plead innocence when others abuse the cage.

Apple loudly advertises this fact.

Users don’t get to plead victimhood when the product works as advertised.

It’s not a cage. It’s a hotel that people willingly stay in because the operators keep it clean.

Clean here meaning free of content that isn't liked by repressive, rights-abusing governments.

Clean meaning certain kinds of malware are disallowed.

Complying with the law is generally a prerequisite for doing business in as complex a good as iPhones.

Jails are just hotels you can't check out of. That's why it's called jailbreaking. The Western app store might be a hotel, but the Chinese app store sure looks like a jail.
