Anyone have experience sourcing LIS software?

Working at a small healthtech startup with a lab. Every call I get on with LIS sources it just seems like I'm going to be dealing with something ancient. Special services integrations, super slow timelines, people that have never heard 'json' before...

All I want is to be able to reliably pull data from our various lab machines. Does anyone offer this as a service directly? We already have a patient database tied to our ordering system.
