it's kind of frustrating to me that industrialization of the hypermedium desires so strongly to de-inter-twingulate everything it can. modules & encapsulation & private... on and on we build bigger and bigger taller spikier walls around the different things.
as a tool for industrail production i understand the diversification of the medium to allow more containerized systems. but i also think some coordinatiom & planning & strategy of the namespace of the oage would yield the same results, without the hard bounded limitations & additional complexity we're creating here.
all in all a good feature, it's part of a larger trend that fills me with absolutely no joy, and which does not make me feel like we're on a course to amplify an eventual empowered user-author, live editing the document/page. which is a pretty remote vision these days but which, if the web is to be of long term value, is something that must begin to emerge & take root in some camps.
