That notch on the new MacBook Pros (morrick.me)

Apple seems to be able to make their products more desirable by adding imperfections. First dropping the optical drive (much earlier than competitors), then various ports, the audio jack on iPhones, the controversial butterfly keyboard, the notches. Look at how all the other smartphone makers added notches and rounded displays. In a vacuum many people would dislike such changes, but with Apple you think there must be some thought behind it, it's not a deficiency but a feature.

Reminds me a lot of fixie bikes or fancy old fashioned razors...
