Content-related opps with startup community

Love HN, but as a tech copyeditor/writer, I find it's dev ops-heavy, not content dev, marketing related.

What's the best place for a highly experienced tech editor/writer to get in front of the startup crowd?

If I understand you are talking about positions writing "though leadrship" type stuff that promotes the company's POV on some new technology and how it can help customers? I have seen these before (and I think it's often a sign a company has too much money) but if you are looking, I think some screening criteria could be newer tech that is poorly understood and needs good explanation for clients to understand how it can help (AI/quantum computing are the clichés) and the company already has bought in investors (series B+) that have given them the leeway to do some promotion.

There might be potential for some kind of nonstandard collaboration with earlier stage companies. I see (and experienc personally) earlier stage startup founders that want to better explain their ideas, but in almost all cases would end up doing it themselves because they don't have a budget for hiring a content writer and it would be a tough sell to get them to pay market rates
