very very excited for mini-LED laptops! i've been doing a ton of working outside for years, and i really want the brightness. high brightness cinema is also stunning indoors.
one thing that Apple seems well ahead on- dimming zones. the ipad pro has 10,000 dimming zones. this laptop has 1152. the first mini-LED laptop, the MSI Creator, had 240. more zones = better brightness control across the screen. i'm interested as heck to know how companies drive these dimming zones.
