Even if we had the tech it wouldn’t be practical. Dogs are cheap and easy to get more, they are also commonly upgraded with titanium teeth and bullet proof vests, and soon may have AR goggles for more precise commands.
The audio and video data is merged into a video file that is saved into the directory where you executed yt-dlp. After the command has finished downloading and merging the file you can open the video file using your media player of choice such as for example mpv or VLC.
If you are on macOS and have homebrew installed, you can install yt-dlp with:
brew install yt-dlp
The yt-dlp people have an individually maintained tap for it as well, but since yt-dlp is available via the main homebrew registry which is generally also up to date I prefer to install it from the homebrew one instead of using the individually maintained tap.
For Linux distros it will depend on how up to date packages are in the package repository you are using. You want yt-dlp to be updated to the latest version every now and then since yt-dlp may break when YouTube make changes to their service.
So for many Linux distros and likewise for Windows you may want to install yt-dlp using pip.
I have so much hate for Google when it ask me for my credit card or Id, officially to "confirm" my age to view a fuckin video that should not be restricted to any age in my country at least.
But we all know the real reasons why they try to get your real identity...
I always assumed this was propaganda, and that it can’t possibly have been real. But I see people talking in the comments like it isn’t fake. What’s the modern consensus?
Has anyone done a thorough investigation?
If it’s real, have there been similar experiments? This can’t be the only one.
The dog revival is real. It is possible to revive something that has been dead for 10 minutes under those conditions. Not particularly mind blowing today but probably was back then.
The dog head might be real, but the way the head moves kinda makes me feel like it isn’t. The body might have just been hidden away from view and the dog paralyzed or restrained somehow.

[ 3.3 ms ] story [ 78.0 ms ] threadwe're talking potential military / DARPA contracts here, you could still make a pretty penny on something impractical.

Tony, I didn't know you were on this site.
I've watched this video other times, but being unable to watch it now because of youtube/google policies bothers me a lot.
Anyone knows a way (not other source) to watch/download the video?
