It's a valuation based on a bunch of mid-tier VC's panic buying an opportunity. They have nothing as a company. They have an Uber use case (guess what, every database has one of these!) and a few other things. But they have little to no revenue, they don't have a cloud service yet, etc. They have the "right" people but this is a hilarious valuation at this point in their lifecycle considering they just raised at a considerably less valuation recently and nothing has changed.
