It'd be lovely to see Broadcom routers not be useless garbage for enthusiasts, needing signed firmware, and I'm very happy there's now a legal basis for doing so. Sensible, obvious, helpful change feels rare, but SFC managed to make it happen. Congratulations! Amazing.

As for actually getting around to circumventing their encryption? Sheesh, it's gonna be hard.

It would be nice if these exceptions would be made permanent instead of having to be renewed every few years. Or the DRM provisions just get repealed.
