Can someone with expertise in the topic weigh in on the reasoning of using tau and amyloid-beta to assess disease progression? It seems to be mixed/unproven on cause and effect, but can those markers be trusted for measuring the state?
This doesn't seem very surprising to me. The brain can handle up to certain level. It's only when it exceeds a threshold that it starts to really make an impact.
