Apple's macOS Monterey causing problems with some USB-C hubs and docks (appleinsider.com)

Got new M1 Max and trying to better organize my pile of SSDs and USB flash drives. Having a hard time. Some devices work perfectly, while others hang Disk Utility and even Console.
