In 2018 we (Tracker Network) released a companion Fortnite stats app to compliment our rapidly growing website, FortniteTracker.com. The app and website basically provide a way for users to see their stats progression and recent matches. It was a big success and we peaked at #2 in the Entertainment category behind Netflix.
Now, as the demand for Fortnite has waned, we've revisited the app, adding support for several of the most popular FPS titles currently available as part of a complete redesign.
Let us know what you think of the app! We're always looking for new ideas and feedback from people in the industry.
If you're here for some technical details about the app, here's a bit of a breakdown:
- Original app was React Native. Found it difficult to work within the React/RN ecosystem.
- New app is built with Flutter, used the same identifier and did a drop in replacement on the app stores.
- Latest title we added, Apex Legends, took 2 developers 1 week to complete (ready for production.)
- Backend is .NET Core, an ever growing project which has ~50 subprojects for various title implementations and tools.
