Just something I've been hacking on, since I found the existing tools for visualization sort of wanting.
Nice, it works :-) I was about to complain it's too easy on the highest level..then realized I had it set to only 2 ply ahead! Did you try RealChess? Created by Shiela Timp, Jorden van Foreest's mother. It's where I'd seen the "set number of blind moves" feature before. They're not just "there's a winning tactic here" positions, but finding the best move.

I hadn't heard of RealChess before, thanks for the link. Some of these exercises are definitely interesting. I like the idea of the attacked pieces exercise combined w/ visualization, I'd like to add an exercise like that to my site at one point. The ChooseMove feature is very similar to the Blunder Preventer on AimChess, which I've found to be useful.

The 2-ply default may be a bit soft. I wanted to keep the defaults as easy as possible, so the initial couple puzzles aren't discouraging for lower-rated players. I think I could make the adjustment there more discoverable though.
