Ask HN: What should I read on GANs and text-to-image NNs?

Hi HN, I really love the field of image synthesis by neural networks - I constantly toy around with VQGAN+CLIP, but what should I read or watch to better understand parameters and the whole process? How do I get to the level of making my own versions?
