I built a simple drag and drop tool to batch convert all images in a Word or PowerPoint document to JPEGs to reduce file size after a less tech savvy researcher kept adding massive PNG and TIFF files to presentations and papers, making them too large to email.
How does this differ from the inbuilt compress pictures tab PowerPoint (and presumably other office tools) already have under Tools > Compress Pictures when saving a file.
