I guess you're missing the point that link in the center actually goes somewhere.
Chasing down further links ("blank is beautiful"), you eventually end up with a page quoting from the Max Headroom series (with Blank Reg being the character that is quoted), followed by a couple more links to more stuff. Quite a nice rabbit hole of links.
