Apparently if you demonstrate you are willing to track people down and brutally assassinate them if they cross you is a really strong disincentive for criminal gangs to cross you.
This suggests to me that Erik Prince has an excellent opportunity to create a really solid anti- ransomware/exploiting type of company that only needs to hire enough of a Blue team to track down the origin of a client's attacker. :-)
That this is the level of evaluation on the part of these groups makes me sad.
