I disagree.
If you’ve ever seen a 10 year old playing Fortnite while wearing a headset, or FaceTiming his friends while also on Discord to other friends, then you’ve seen someone truly immersed in it. Especially if you say “dinner is ready”, because it will take you several times for the kid to process that they are hungry and you just offered him food.
People are in love with this vision, but it already exists, just like a Model T was a car, but our today are much more refined.
