1.5 years ago would have been summer. Pollution spikes up this time of the year every year because of multiple reasons including stubble burning by farmers around New Delhi. While it is always lower in summers. Delhi is always most polluted this time of the year: https://m.timesofindia.com/city/delhi/dec-16-to-31-is-second...

It's not about summer or winter. 1.5 years ago was COVID lockdown, hence no pollution.
