Ask HN: Is there an Chrome extension highlighting new posts?

I was using the "hckr news" extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hckr-news/mnlaodleonmmfkdhfofamacceeikgecp) to get a highlight of the new posts in a thread but it has recently stopped working.

Anyone knows of another extension that can highlight new posts?
