The X factor will be the external factors outside of Qualcomm's control. Sure they have the Nuvia team likely designing a new architecture but the 2 other major pillars are:
1. Microsoft's work to "ARM-tize" Windows 11. Will they make a serious effort and succeed, or get scuttled like the Windows RT & 10X efforts previously?
2. TSMC's latest and greatestfab process, whether it be 3nm or beyond. Can Qualcomm secure capacity on it? If not, then it'll be very tough to stay competitive with Apple.
