Ask HN: Standing Up a Website

Best new and future-proof way to stand up a website? Without needing to go through lots of steps like you would with a Wordpress site what is the best way to do this? It might start as a single page but would grow over time as more services, content and functions are added. Cloudflare? AWS? Digital Ocean? What is the favored option by the alpha geeks?

Netlify?

I'm in a similar position as I want to stand up a blog and just want something simple that works OOTB. I'm an infra guy and don't want to write Javascript.

I hear you on JS. Nothing against it or the people that love it but I don't enjoy it at all. I will look at Netlify. They have been active here because they just raised a round.
