I think there is a little more too it. This is more a technological detective story. Was it someone purpose? Was handbrake used? Why were the filenames different? Why wasn't dropbox used, etc, etc, etc.

Not saying there is any there there, but certainly HackerNews could illuminate what happened and if it's intentional or not a hell of a lot better than the news media.
