Stripe tax makes life so much easier for european companies, that would otherwise have to keep track of tax rates and payments per EU country under the OSS ruling.
Does Stripe have a Merchant of Record type of services?

With Stripe Tax(Jar), will Stripe submit to the proper authorities your tax returns?

We don't have merchant of record yet, but this is only the beginning! Today for the US we would provide you analysis such that you know where you need to register (e.g. usually after ~$100k in each state, but varies by state) and once you are registered we can automate both the calculation and the filing/remittance of returns to each US state.
If they launch Merchant of Record, I'd jump back over to them in a heartbeat. I'm begrudgingly with Paddle now just for this.
It's such a weird concept to me that it's up to individuals and companies to figure out how much tax to charge.

Since the governments are collecting taxes it should be their responsibility to provide all the plugins and integrations needed to do it seamlessly.
