Ask HN: How to debug windows audio pipeline

Hi, I really enjoy blogs about people disecting system in order to find why some bug exists. I have issue on my Windows computer that audio can start crack stutter and only thing that help is restart. I would like to dive into OS and find out what going on, but I miss some introduction into how do such OS debugging. So if you could point me to some tutorial that could introduce me into such thing I would appreciate it.
