I hope they win. What Rockstar has done in the past few months is disgraceful. They would have been better scrapping the entire remastering project the minute before release rather than actually releasing it. It's not like people weren't buying the game new legitimately on all of the e-tailers. A lot of things reek from Rockstar management here and they're bound to repeat these mistakes.

As much as I’d like them not to lose, they are going to have a hard time here, since they basically disassembled the whole game and posted it on GitHub.

so that's not a good idea, but being able to post your own patch code as well as patch instructions should be protected, IMO.

Yes, it should be protected as they are the ones that did it to themselves.

Wasn't the same done with Mario 64? Nintendo is the most litigious game company and they couldn't/haven't done anything about it. But then again I believe someone on here said they was a difference between how the two are done.
