As someone who used to live in a frat house, I feel I must object to this characterization. There are certainly frats that behave badly but my frat would have ejected Musk or his like without a second thought. This is not normal behavior. Acting like it is lets the perpetrators off the hook and is slander against all decent men.
It reminds me of people excusing Trump admitting to sexual assault on tape as "locker room talk". Talk like that in any locker room I've ever been in and you'll probably get hit.
