It's heavily underreported. I have tons of friends who never saw a doctor, but have a long covid without any doctor. To me, the most striking things I notice among people is their cognitive capacity has changed.

Long covid seems like a possible explanation for at least some portion of the worker shortages in the USA. Which may mean some worker shortages will be long term (until the young take their place or if the workers eventually recover).
Given the virus is not going away and the vaccines are not designed to protect against infection is it possible there will be an ever growing number of people disabled by long covid because eventually everyone will have a breakthrough infection?
