On one thing: I understand the desire to look westernized. The video suggests a caricature Middle-East alt-futurism that is interesting more as a theme park than anything else and is a representations of their culture as accurate as Disney's Alladin.
The Burj does have a sewage system, though. this was during construction. the main point of thevideo is the dwellings of some workers, which has actually improved drastically (soonapur for example, and al quoz indistrial area)
