It mutates because people keep vaxxing and creating new reasons for it to mutate. Also odd how there were thousand of deaths from the flu...and then zero, but fortunately, hospitals were paid for C-19 deaths. Totally normal.

Preventing cases does not help create more mutations

Having more cases which means more replication which means more possibility for errors, THAT is how you get mutations.

This is exactly what smart people said would happen. As long as there are places where the virus is spreading there will continue to be more variants. This virus is now endemic, we are stuck with it.
