This will shortly spread to the rest of the world. There is no way around this anymore. The virus is endemic and our institutions are no longer capable of coherently dealing with a problem of this scale. The virus doesn't care about nations and borders so the solution to it must also be global and trans-national, there is no other way to solve this problem.
