This is not entirely relevant to HN but his work touched a number of cultural intersections across music, fashion, tech etc since so many of those things intertwine these days, not to mention being a voice/movement for societal change and up'n'coming designers etc. Not the biggest fan but it's still a shocking loss.
This is not accurate and seems to be a rumor generated by a list of defendants in a previous civil case against Epstein’s “The 1953 Trust.” There were nearly 40 named defendants including Kanye West and The Disney Corporation. This case was thrown out as frivolous because the plaintiff’s timeline of events didn’t match up with reality.
It took me about 5 minutes to search and find this information, but if you have conflicting sources I would be interested.

I was never into his whole aesthetic, and never owned any of his pieces, yet he was one of my favorite designers in the world. One of the most sophisticated and savvy designers to walk the earth.
I’d 100% recommend going through the lectures and interviews he has given, for all kinds of creatives. He gives a masterclass on how to cut through the superficial with creative and intellectual integrity.
