Ask HN: Those who went from a small/mid to a tech giant, how is the transition?

I’ve worked all my life at small and medium size companies, startups and scaleups. Recently I’ve got an offer from GitHub (SWE).

I enjoy my current job, but the prospects of working for a company of such scale, as well as total compensation seem very tempting.

How is the transition? What are the big differences you’ve felt?
