[–] sgt 4y ago ↗ If you are running your own host machines to essentially host VM's (private cloud), then yes.There may be some cases for just directly running on the HW as well.If you only do cloud like AWS etc then no, you don't need SW raid, but don't discount knowing a bit about it.
