They do not have to release Mastodon code under AGPL.
The fact users are attacking them using AGPL over an accidental pre-release shows no one actually cares about what AGPL really means or stands for nor cares.
AGPL, one might guess like GPL is now nothing more than a tool to attack people with. Similar to how MPAA and RIAA uses copyright.
It's about time we say fuck GPL. They are not friends to the free information movements, they are the enemy.
