Ask HN: Open-source crowd-funded buy-now-pay-later solutions?

Are there any open-source and/or crowd funded buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) solutions out there? I haven't been able to find any in my search. Also on a slightly unrelated note, I've also been wondering why open source financial products aren't more common.
