My wife hasn't received VM's for weeks and just called support. They said it's been forwarded to the above number... how has this not been blacklisted by now?

Its a RoBoKiller phone #. Did she install any anti spam apps?
Wouldn't be surprised - will check with her. Appreciate the reply and am surprised an app would have permission to change this setting!
I'll tell you how... They don't give a fuck.
I just did some verifications and it seems to be a number used by RoboKiller[1]. Have you wife installed that application or any spam blocking app?

It basically forward spam call to that number. Maybe a bug or something happened when you deleted the app and the calls were still forwarding after the deletion.

Interesting find, appreciate it. Going to follow up with her
Yeah, I helped someone with this problem a few weeks back.

From what Verizon told me, it seems like an app somehow enabled *72 - any call that came in when the line was already in use or went to voicemail was redirected to a Dakota number.

Dialing *73 disabled the forward and put things back to normal.

Anyone know what the “weird voicemail” is or what happens when the number is called?
