How to talk about technical debt with non-technical folks (leadership.garden)

I decided to do this writeup because I know how frustrating long-standing tech debt can be and that it's usually a challenge to find a common language with some stakeholders about it. I'd love to hear your experience with technical debt and how your org handles it.
