Mushrooms are legal in Canada, and a brief web search can locate reputable companies that are willing to ship to the US. Or so I've been told by a friend.
Be careful though, LSA containing seeds will give you a hell of a time with vomiting if you don’t prepare/extract.
You also probably want to be careful with sourcing still. I hear that a lot of time the seeds are sprayed with pesticides and stuff, particularly when buying from a source selling for growing flowers.

Sure, there is risk that needs managing, but it's not like it's Panadol, with an effective to lethal dose ratio of only ten, yet still available over the counter. Or statins, or numerous other pharmaceutical drugs with potential severe side effects and highly questionable benefits.

Recently I heard about this horrible drug, popular among the kids called ethanol. Neurotoxic and carcinogenic. It can cause all sorts of effects including disorientation, suppression of the central nervous system to the point where you stop breathing, even psychosis and can bring out aggressive behavior in some individuals. It’s pretty addictive, and even potential dangerous is stopped suddenly in an addicted individual.
If you know someone who is using ethanol, they must stop using it.
