Ask HN: Is XProtect enough to keep my Mac secure?

I don't click on email links I think are suspicious, I run an adblocker to avoid malicious JavaScript, and I don't install obscure libraries.

Sounds like hn really doesn't like antivirus software. So is there anything else I should be doing?
