Ask HN: How are different relational databases and data warehouses (Snowflake)?

I am thinking of building data governance product. I do understand we ll data ecosystem around Postgres, but enterprise world is a mystery for me.

Could I write SQL query in Snowflake? Are there tables? How are they connected? Are there foreign keys and other stuff?
