This seems like a practical move. I'm surprised to find this isn't already the case. I suppose I'm a bit naive about cultural norms in muslim countries. I do find it interesting that the official work week includes half a day on a traditional holy day. To me, a holy day, regardless of religion, should intuitively be a whole day off. It also would have been cool to see a developed country officially have a 4 day work week. 4.5 days isn't quite the same.
