Not even sure what a "cryptocurrency scam" is. Cryptocurrency IS a scam.

True, but no one sees US dollar as an asset to "invest" into right? It's just a medium of exchange, or worst case, for short-term savings. People who see crypto as being any different can only blame themselves.

Somehow accumulating dollars - is a sort of investment. Don't you think so. It's simply a more reliable kind of investment.

The whole story sounds shitty for the world of internet possibilities. Like in "Cuckoo's Egg" author said that's this is a crime itself to ruin trust among people in the net. BUT funny thing is that blockchain itself may be a cure.
