All I can see are the open high voltage terminals about 2 feet off the ground. That seems really dangerous, especially if there were ever curious children around.
This is really cool! He should help write changes in NEC code book that allows salvaged EV batteries to be installed in houses. My state will allow it, tweets like this help promote the idea
I didn't understand the context of this tweet at first, but now I do. This is a congressman from Kentucky, who is using his installation of battery power into his home (which is legitimately cool) to cover for his political talking points about covid and vaccination.

Here are some more tweets for context:

> 79% of discovered omicron cases in the US were among fully vaccinated.

Where he shows his ignorance of Simpson's paradox. This is also unsourced, and likely from a sample of 43 people who traveled internationally. So he's ignorant about statistics.

> Keep in mind, these are liars and professional con artists...

How he is referring to the CDC, so you can tell he really likes to make well-reasoned arguments.

So yeah. Context.

Noteworthy that he rejects there is anthropomorphic climate change. So his solar panels are for off-grid reliability, not eco-conscious energy.
