Instagram (Android) app crashes when you search “Covid” (old.reddit.com)

Tried it on a pixel 4, latest update, and it closes for me too.

Don't worry. A patch is right around the corner, plus a planned patch every 6 months for every new keyword variant that is found that triggers the same behavior. (QA time might be sacrificed to meet deadlines, but it's probably fine)
