I’ve spent countless hours playing insta-team on Venice. Any Linux distro which doesn’t include Sauerbraten in its package repo isn’t one worth using, IMO

The cube2 cell data structure is one of those things that stays with you forever. An octree where the leaf node encodes edge lengths delta to a cube, allowing for practically free-form meshes.

One might imagine an alternate universe where Minecraft is inspired by cube2 instead of infiniminer.
